Frank Alquist is a founding member and co-owner of The Music Shed. Frank is a Chief Executive for an offshore equipment services company on the Northshore. Mr. Alquist lends his business management experience to the Music Shed team. “I am very passionate about New Orleans’ music and culture”.
Mr. Alquist believes that The Music Shed will continue to be a “music incubator” to foster the development of business infrastructure and services in the local entertainment industry.
Chris Bailey was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and studied Music Performance at LSU. He has been a performing and recording musician for over 20 years. Chris became a studio owner in 1993 as a founding member and co-owner of The Music Shed Recording Studios. Having worn many different musical hats that of producer, engineer, arranger and songwriter, Chris thrives in the studio environment and has brought that love of production into the Music Shed.
A percussionist performing with symphonic orchestras, recording bands, touring bands and drum and fife corps, he also remains involved in music education, a passion he has also pursued for more than 20 years. He currently holds positions as a teacher, school director and school owner.

We called Chris to fine tune the acoustics and run sessions at the Shed and he hasn't left yet!
His contagious enthusiasm and professional attitude are backed up by fifteen years of experience. Born and raised in
New Orleans, Chris' career has covered (just about) every aspect of audio and acoustics - at every level. Outside the Music Shed,
he serves as Production Director for the non-profit Tipitina's Foundation. Chris also coordinates and teaches the Foundation's after school programs in music and production.

With a Music Industry Studies degree from Loyola University, Jared Marcell is set with strengths in marketing and management and a developing expertise in audio engineering. Jared spent two years on Loyola's audio T.A. crew maintaining the student-run studio and tutoring other students in music technology and studio skills. He also has held management positions in two Loyola student-run businesses - both the recording studio and the record label. Jared currently works at the Music Shed as an assistant engineer.
